With the NBA free agency period looming, there are tons of questions still to be answered surrounding some big names including Bradley Beal, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard, and James Harden. All of them have odds on sports betting sites on where they will land before the upcoming season.
Starting with Bradley Beal, it is strange that he even has odds right now considering he is only in year two of his five year, $251 million contract extension that he signed with the Washington Wizards.
With that said, NBA oddsmakers have him favored to remain with the Washington Wizards at -1000 odds. Sitting behind the Wizards are the Philadelphia 76ers at 800 and the only realistic possibility of this happening would be a sign and trade situation with James Harden.
Speaking of James Harden, he has a tight race at the top of his odds board with 110 odds to remain in Philly and 125 odds of going back to the Houston Rockets.
Many around the league and in Harden’s camp believe that he is open to a reunion with the Rockets considering their extremely young core. Those are the only two teams worth betting on as the rest of them have 5000 odds or more.
In shocking news, the Phoenix Suns released Chris Paul making him a free agent and free to sign anywhere. Immediately, both LA teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are the two favorites to land his services. There are reasons that he would sign with both teams.

Starting with the Lakers, they are coming off of a playoff run where they made it to the Western Conference Finals and he is also extremely close with LeBron James making it even more of an incentive to sign there. With the Clippers though, he has the familiarity with the organization having spent six seasons there.
Arguably the biggest name on this list that could be on the move, Damian Lillard has -300 odds to remain with the Portland Trail Blazers, however, the Miami Heat are right on their tail with 350 odds, and for good reason.
First of all, Portland has not yet decided on if they’ll trade the pick and continue to build around Dame or if they’ll keep the pick and trade Dame and begin their rebuild. Also, in an interview, Lillard said Miami would be his obvious choice if he was traded considering his relationship with Bam Adebayo and also how capable their current roster is.
Sources: The Suns and Chris Paul are exploring multiple options, including a trade, stretching his contract, or waiving and re-signing him in free agency. Phoenix expected to discuss trades ahead of Paul’s June 28 contract date.
